The Gwinner Fire Department currently has 41 active members, many of which are also certified in auto extrication and first response. It is with great honor that the members volunteer to serve the community and outlying areas. Through the years they have had overwhelming support from the community and greatly appreciate their acknowledgements of gratitude.
Construction was completed in 2008 on the new Emergency Response Center, which houses the Fire Department, City Office and First Responder Unit. This project was made possible with the cooperative efforts between these departments and the City of Gwinner.
Monthly meetings are on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the Fire Hall.
